Policy

Government policies and regulations have a very strong impact on toy and how they reach the markets and children. ATPA strongly stands by International Standards that regulated how toys are made – using sustainable practices and high quality raw materials.

We engage actively with policy makers globally and more specifically in Asia to promote and support the creation of effective, and evidence-backed policies – which guarantee the highest safety and quality standards and minimise barriers to trade, so children have access to the latest toys in the most efficient time to market.

Our Regulatory Working Group promotes safety & quality standardization, as well as regional trade policies and coordinates regularly with other Toy Associations globally to make sure that we have an unified front.
