Value of Play
ATPA promotes the Value of Play in Asia among governments, educational institutions and the community.
Education and entertainment can complement one another and provides many advantages for children. During play, children are given an opportunity to engage in and develop a whole range of skills such as critical thinking, socialisation and creativity. Play also forges strong family ties.
Multiple avenues for cooperation exist for play and education to interact, both in the private space of one’s homes or the formal institutional setting of a school, as well as through engagement with both the public and private sector.
