Webinar - India QCO, A Closer Look at the Toy Manual
About the Webinar
The newly introduced Quality Control Order (QCO) in India requires all toy manufacturers to obtain a Toy Certification from the Bureau of Indian Standard (BIS).
This certification will allow them to continue selling toys in the Indian domestic market. To aid companies in meeting the QCO requirements, BIS has issued a Toy Product Manual (PM) containing details to guide manufacturers through the certification process.
Considering these developments, the Asia Toy & Play Association (ATPA) and the Hong Kong Toy Council (HKTC) are organizing a webinar to present and analyze the Product Manual in-depth. Furthermore, a Q&A segment will allow members and non-members to clarify their doubts with the speakers.
ATPA and HKTC are actively engaged with the Government of India to submit constructive feedback on the QCO and support the growth of the local domestic toy market.

About the Speakers
In Chi Yun is a project manager at Aleph India QMS with a focus in BIS Certification. His expertise includes management consultation & coordination, professional development, strategic implementation, and company collaboration. After joining Aleph India in 2017, Chi Yun was tasked to set-up the Liaison Office in South Korea in 2019 and has successfully registered more than 30 clients since then.
Yogesh Kant Tiwari is Operation and Legal Head and looks after the complete Regulatory Compliance requirement for the Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical and Chemical products. Yogesh analyses complete products at the initial stage and scrutinize their technical aspects. He also looks after the requirements of Product Registration and Certification under various Indian Standards to comply with the Quality, Safety and Performance Standards. Mr Yogesh has over 10 years of experience in certification.
